Network Côte d’Orange, or NCO for short, is a network club of enthusiastic Dutch-speaking working women on the Côte d’Azur since 2006. In addition to our usual networking activities, we organize a spectacular event every few years to support a good cause. We have already delighted Pink Ribbon and Make-A-Wish with a generous amount!
This year, we have chosen LEO, an association from Saint-Raphaël that is committed to the fight against childhood cancer.
Why LEO?
- Childhood cancer disrupts the lives of the child, the parents, but also the brothers and sisters. It is important to support these families, both emotionally and financially;
- Childhood cancer should not exist. Research is being done into the causes and treatments of these diseases, and we want to contribute to that;
- LEO is a local association, named after Léo, the son of the president who died of cancer at the age of 15. A normal child at a normal school, near us. It could happen to us too.
